Bahraini Society Against Normalization delegation at Sabra and Shatila Palestinian refugee camp
Bahrain Mirror: The delegation of the Bahraini Society Against Normalization has concluded its visit to Lebanon, during which the delegation visited the Palestinian refugee camps in the Sabra and Shatila area, in an affirmation of the Bahraini people's support the Palestinian cause.
A member of the Association's Board of Directors Ghassan Sarhan said that "the people of Bahrain are committed to the Palestinian cause and denounce the visit made by a delegation to the Zionist entity claiming to represent the Bahraini people."
A delegation from the "This is Bahrain" Association visited the Israeli entity to deliver a message stating that the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa is open to Tel Aviv, days after the US president announced Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
"This is a step towards normalization and we reject all visits under Israeli sponsorship because that contributes to breaking the psychological barrier with Israel," Sarhan added.
For his part, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Beirut official, Fouad Dahir: "The people of Bahrain are a free people and those who visited the occupied territories do not represent them," adding that "this visit is a response to those who are pro-normalization with Israel."
