Ali Mhanna: Red Cross Promised to Seek Contact with My Son

Bahrain Mirror: Activist Ali Mhanna stated that he received a phone call from the Red Cross regarding a message he sent a week ago via email, requesting permission to visit his son, the political prisoner Hussein Mhanna.
Mhanna said in a post on the formerly Twitter "X" platform on Thursday, June 6, 2024: "The Red Cross promised me to seek contact with him (his imprisoned son), and hours later, the National Institute for Human Rights called me and informed me that they are seeking to set up a visit with my son," confirming that he is waiting to see if the institute's promise will be fulfilled.
