The fourth high criminal court in Bahrain acquitted a 23-year-old accused of involvement in a gas cylinder bombing on the highway, endangering people's lives.

The High Appeals Court upheld a 7-year jail verdict against an appellant who participated in an assembly, attacked policemen and set fire to a generator affiliated with the police in Al-Ekr.

The High Appeals Criminal Court commuted a verdict issued against suspect, accused of taking part in an assembly and attacking a policeman while attempting to arrest him [suspect] from the assembly place, from 3 years in prison to 2 years, and upheld a one-year jail term against another suspect over assembly charge.

The High Court of Appeal rejected a Bahraini’s objection, who was convicted of burning the car of an MP in the Ma’ameer area along with three others.

The Fifth High Criminal Appeals Court rejected the appeal submitted by a policeman in Jaw Prison convicted of receiving bribery from an inmate whose family name is "Balawi” in return for providing him with a mobile phone and a ring. The suspect was sentenced to 3 years in jail and 200 BD fine. The court also ordered to expel him outside the country after finishing his prison term. The court also upheld the 3-year jail term against the inmate (second suspect).

The Fourth Minor Criminal Court fined the former Shura Council member and head of Bahrain Human Rights Watch Society, Faisal Foulaz, 200 BD over charge of launching a campaign against "BAS" company, accusing it of preferring foreign employees to Bahrainis.
