The king of Bahrain issued royal order appointing Daij bin Salman as Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Vice Chairman. He also issued two decrees appointing and transferring directors at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning.

Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minster, issued edicts appointing 15 directors at 7 government institutions.
