The Public Prosecution referred Shiite cleric Sayed Mohieldin Al-Mashaal to trial after accusing him of “insulting Prophet Mohammad, his companions and rightly guided caliphs during a sermon he delivered”. Al-Mashaal is supposed to appear before the fourth minor criminal court on September 6.
